Job Description: The Physical Therapist Degree Senior reports directly to the Manager.  The Physical Therapist Degree Senior is accountable for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the delivery of physical therapy services to ensure patients/clients receive comprehensive client-centered care.  This position primary focus will be inpatient or outpatient, but may cover both inpatient and outpatient.  The Physical Therapist Degree Senior also provides training, coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff therapists and other team members and students.  
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced communication skills
Advanced leadership skills
Advanced organizational skills
Positive approach and good listening skills to deal with challenging situations with objectivity, empathy and sincerity
Other Information

Field Hours
Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
