Tasks

  • Apply fertilizers
  • Clean the crops
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
  • Cut agricultural crops
  • Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Dose water saturation, light and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
  • Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
  • Hand harvesting vegetables
  • Monitor the calving process
  • Seed cutting
  • Write daily basic progress reports
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
