Foson Stone is a home remodeling, construction and renovation studio in Ontario. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our team.
Position Details:
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent position
Employment location: 59 Granger Ave, Scarborough, ON M1K 3K9 (Required to travel within Ontario for job site visits)
Salary Expectation: $73,000-$83,000 annually based on experience and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directly supervising a team of marble setters and installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure work is performed to the required standards and specifications.
• Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and clients to plan installation projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics coordination to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in cutting, tooling, and setting marble and granite slabs in both interior and exterior renovations.
• Inspecting marble and granite materials for quality and suitability before installation, and ensuring that installation work meets industry standards, design specifications, and client expectations.
• Overseeing the installation process, including layout, cutting, shaping, and setting of marble and granite materials according to project plans and drawings.
• Ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of installed surfaces.
• Addressing challenges or issues that arise during installation, such as unexpected site conditions, material defects, or design discrepancies.
• Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for installation crews and other workers.
• Maintaining accurate records of installation activities, including work hours, materials used, and any changes or deviations from the original project plan.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and quality enhancements in marble and granite installation practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in construction and renovation industry.
• Be able to drive.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans is essential.
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Be able to communicate in English.
