JOB DESCRIPTION
• Train and manage housekeeping staff, including room attendants and laundry staff
• Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained according to the hotel's standards.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate hotel policies, safety protocols, and updates.
• Perform regular inspections of guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly.
• Implement and monitor procedures to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials.
• Work within the budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure all housekeeping staff adhere to safety protocols and hotel policies.
• Maintain compliance with local health and safety regulations, as well as Best Western brand standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions on safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are consistently maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet special guest requests or requirements.
• Monitor and respond to guest feedback regarding housekeeping services.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in housekeeping practices.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar supervisory role within a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, inventory control, and budget management.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle guest requests and complaints in a professional manner.
• Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and system

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school completion is required
1-2 years of experience in housekeeping management OR A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field

Staff accommodation can be provided, if requested
• Candidate should be willing to work in both morning & evening shifts.
Sometimes overtime may be required on some busy days/weekends
