Job Description
At Best Western, the role of a hotel manager encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key duties include:
• Plan, organize, and evaluate all aspects of the hotel's daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Work with other departments to create and maintain control procedures, ensuring smooth collaboration and consistent service.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings and suggest changes to improve policies, procedures, and overall efficiency.
• Develop and analyze budgets, preparing forecasts and tracking actual expenses versus projections to ensure financial health.
• Determine the types of services to be offered by the hotel, ensuring procedures are in place for smooth operations.
• Keep track of hotel revenues, adjusting procedures, pricing, or promotions as needed to meet financial goals.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, creating a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Negotiate with suppliers for food, supplies, and services, as well as with clients regarding catering and facility use.
• Set and manage staff work schedules, and monitor their performance to ensure high-quality and consistent service.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff to ensure they are well-prepared to provide excellent service to guests.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school education
• 1-2 years of experience is required of working in the relevant field, previous supervisory experience will be an asset

Candidate should be willing to work in both morning & evening shifts.
