We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
Position Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise and support staff, and maintain compliance with safety and health regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze budgets to increase and maintain profitability
• Evaluate and improve daily operational procedures
• Adjust food preparation methods and pricing to meet budget targets
• Supervise and monitor staff performance and efficiency
• Plan and coordinate daily activities and schedules
• Train new staff and support team development
• Maintain proper inventory levels and control stock
• Implement health and safety protocols in all areas
• Manage customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner
• Coordinate catering services and facility usage with clients
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Qualifications
• Language: English
• Education: College diploma or equivalent (1–2 years program)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year and less than 2 years in a similar role
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Working Conditions
• Fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
• Must handle tight deadlines and manage large workloads
• Requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Combination of sitting, walking, and standing
• Overtime may be necessary depending on operational needs
