We focus on providing friendly customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting local farmers and suppliers. We are currently hiring a General Store Manager to lead our team and help ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations while upholding our commitment to quality and community service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee, coordinate, and assess the daily operations of the grocery store, ensuring efficient retail sales and smooth departmental performance.
- Supervise grocery store employees and schedule their tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
- Hire, train, and supervise store employees, ensuring team members understand their roles and perform their duties efficiently.
- Identify reliable suppliers for grocery products, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and place orders to ensure consistent availability of grocery items.
- Develop and manage budgets, approve purchases and operational expenses, and track sales and revenue to ensure financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently.
- Set and adjust product pricing, promotions, and discounts based on market trends and customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all departments within the store.
- Assess and enhance the quality of customer service, while addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- At least two years of experience in a management role.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and effectively organize time in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
