Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Tasks: Change diapers. Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Supervise and care for children. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Provide personal care. Provide companionship. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Reliability. Patience. Honesty. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) .
