Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex. Urban area. Commercial building. Retirement home. Tasks: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Stock linen closet. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Handle and report lost and found items. Dust furniture. Distribute clean towels and toiletries. Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items. Clean and disinfect elevators. Clean changing rooms and showers. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
