Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Diagnose livestock health issues. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Treat livestock health issues. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Maintain livestock performance records. Select livestock for sale. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system. Automated manure handling or storage system. Bulk handling system. Feeding and watering system. Fertilizer applicator. Sprayer or duster. Tractor. Forklift. Area of specialization: Cattle breeding.
