The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is hiring an Admissions Advisor to join our team!
The Admissions Advisor will play a key role in front-line provisions by assessing, advising and coordinating new learner applicants at SIIT. The incumbent will actively engage with potential applicants and guide them through the proper process and procedure of admissions in order to become a registered learner.
The incumbent is responsible for providing support services required by a new applicant such as exploring personal goals, identifying program requirements and potential support services required to successfully transition into a fully registered learner by using a case-management approach. This position is accountable for follow-up with all SIIT applicants, and ensuring applicants are moving through the application process.
Required Qualifications and Experience: A certificate or diploma in a business-related field is required, with a minimum of one year of experience working with a learner population in an advisory capacity. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
