Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fleet Compliance / Logistics Coordinator to oversee the cross-border operations and compliance of our fleet across Canada and the United States. Working closely with the Fleet Manager, this critical role ensures that all cross-border shipments are delivered with accuracy and on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination, regulatory documentation, and knowledge of fleet compliance. Job position is open for immediate hire.

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Cross-Border Coordination
    Coordinate all Canada-U.S. cross-border shipments, ensuring timely and compliant deliveries.
    Compile, review, and submit all brokerage documentation to customs brokers.
    Ensure all loads have proper CAN/USA permits and safety signage required as per regulatory standards.
    Act as point of contact between operations, brokers, and drivers for shipment details, documentation and clearance issues.
Fleet & Compliance
    Ensure all vehicles, trailers, and drivers possess the proper documentation, permits, safety signage, and equipment required.
    Manage and renew USDOT registrations, North Dakota permits, and other cross-border regulatory requirements.
    Oversee vehicle and trailer licensing and insurance compliance.
    Monitor and ensure compliance with ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) when required.
Fleet Inventory & Maintenance
    Maintain accurate records of fleet assets, including vehicles, trailers, and major equipment.
    Reviewing all daily employee truck and equipment inspections, noting all deficiencies and issues for the Fleet Manager.
    Assist with scheduling and tracking maintenance and fuel usage across the fleet.
    Run local errands to pick up parts or supplies for mechanics and the shop as required.

Qualifications:
    WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL
    1 year of experience in logistics, fleet compliance, or cross-border
