What youll be accomplishing:
-Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation for life cycle mining, milling and project development including environmental assessments and determinations, licensing requests, and applications
-Interpret and analyze regulations, guidelines, communication materials and policies
-Collaborate with technical specialists to review submissions including applications, notifications, amendments and licensing hearings
-Participate in working groups/committees
-Support teams with community engagement activities
-Communicate regulatory topics to stakeholders
Qualities and skills:
-A combination of education and/or work experience within the legal, political science, environmental, or engineering fields will be considered
-5+ years experience in an environment dealing with provincial and/or federal legislation and/or in a project management role
o To be considered for a senior role, 10+ years of experience is required
Work location & schedule:
-Saskatoon
-Occasional travel for short durations (2 - 4 days at a time) is required
-A flexible work environment is supported, with opportunity to work remotely two days per week
