Position Description/Summary:
Reporting Directly to Prevention Services Program Manager, the Prevention Services Youth Supervisor provides direct supervision and case/ program management for the Prevention Services Youth Workers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides day-to-day supervision of Prevention Services Youth Workers.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating workload including the setting of priorities for those under his/ her supervision.
- Obtaining accreditation in a best practice parent training program.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating family camps and other prevention initiatives.
- Ensure the maintenance of standards of quality of work within Prevention Services through a regular evaluation process.
- Work closely with all other La Ronge ICFS programs and services in order to empower families.
- Provide community education and awareness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-Minimum of a two-year post-secondary diploma or any degree in a related field such as Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Education, Psychology, or Sociology
- At least 5 years direct human services experience in a supervisory role.
- Effective communication skills written and verbal
- Integrated Family & Youth Services delivery system
- Criminal Record, Valid Drivers License and Drivers Abstract Clearance
