Description

AGT Foods is looking for a Shunt Truck Driver to join our team.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Responsible for care and control of the facility yard, containers and equipment
Movement and inventory of containers in the yard
Monitor traffic to ensure proper locations of containers
Ensure outside carriers follow proper procedures while on the property
Ensure equipment is fueled at/near end of shift
Responsible to document and report major issues to mechanics
Coordinate with shipping to ensure proper containers are provided for loading
Ensure security of all loaded containers in the yard
Maintenance of yard (snow removal, yard leveling, clean up garbage and dolly pads, drainage, weed control, etc.)
Sweep out containers before loading
Any other tasks and reasonable requests as assigned or required

**Able to work day shift -  7am to 5pm Monday to Friday**


Knowledge and Skills:

Multitask in a fast-paced industry
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Time management with keen attention to detail
Good verbal and written communications skills
Valid drivers license (Class 5), Class 1A would be a bonus but not required
Basic knowledge equipment functions
Mechanically inclined, Skid steer/forklift experience an asset
Punctual and reliable
Follow Food safety and OH&S rules and regulations
