Job Duties
• Managing Body Shop Technician staff, scheduling, payroll tracking & inventory
• Manage staff by assigning shifts and duties to ensure that all shifts are properly staffed and that all standards and best practices are being efficiently executed
• Supervise and direct the activities of staff
• Ensure the delivery of excellence in customer service
• Managing technician productivity
• Oversee vehicle washing, shop maintenance
• Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Implement price and credits policies
• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints
• Play a role in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of new and existing staff
• Effective vehicle production and inventory control
