Reporting to the Office Team Leader & Operations Manager, The CSR will be responsible to:

Promote a professional and positive work environment

Answer all customer calls promptly and professionally

Answer and follow up on all emails from customers and other branches of the business

Contact customers for appointment times and track pre-booked appointments;

Communicate any errors or problems directly to their leader

Assist, investigate and correct customer issues and order delays in a timely manor

Inputs all relevant data for each freight movement into computer system (SAP)

Filing and other administrative tasks as needed;

Perform all other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Experience in the transportation/logistics/industry is an asset

Be organized, have a strong attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines

A sense of urgency and the ability to follow up while performing multiple tasks

Solid oral, written and customer service skills

Flexibility to work multiple shifts for vacation coverage; start times vary from 6am to 2pm

Strong computer skills as the job requires a strong understanding of Excel & managing emails via Outlook.

SAP experience would be an asset but any previous warehouse management experience would give the successful applicant a massive advantage

Proven track record of dependability; excellent attendance is a must for the successful applicant

A Summary of a typical day working in this position includes

Some or all of the following procedures depending on which shift you are working. Some of the main tasks are as followed:

Pulling customer orders from WMS as well as creating inbound deliveries.

Book appointments with our customer’s, send confirmation emails and adding these appointments accurately to our run sheets.

Signing inbound drivers in and out which involves time stamps, signature, updating logs, posting the loads in the WMS, filing the completed loads in the correct folders.

outbound loads that need to be printed, stamped, handed out and again placed in the correct file.

There are numerous logs to fill out as well as reports that are created from the system as well as outside sources; as such.

Utilize VLOOKUP’s to pull data from other spreadsheets.

Sorting and answering emails is a very large portion of the role as it is the primary means of communication among our team, vendors and customers.

Shift: start on 11-7:30 – once trained will be working a shift that will start between 7:30 & 9am working 8 hours with an unpaid lunch. Once trained we will decide on a start time once every 4 weeks the shift will rotate to the 11-7:30 shift.

At a later date there may be a slight change to the shift time but the plan will always be to have a steady start time 3 of 4 weeks and the 4th week will be the middle shift.
