Responsibilities:
The Manager, Employee Learning & Development provides leadership in the areas of learning & development, talent management, and leadership development. This newly created role will be responsible, with guidance from the senior management team, for identifying employee-training needs and managing the development, design, delivery and evaluation of courses, programs and activities that create an exceptional employee experience and support Caisse Financial Group’s overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the management and performance of the employee learning and development department by implementing departmental objectives and ensuring achievement of objectives.
• Work closely with all leaders to identify and meet (current and future) staff learning and development needs.
• Develop, implement, manage and coordinate all staff learning and development programs and activities.
• Serve as the first point of contact and provide guidance and assistance to leaders in coaching and managing employee skill development and career development activities
• Work closely with members of the senior management team, and the Human Resources department in all aspects of talent development as needed
• Serve as the primary internal contact for staff learning & development needs, and external liaison with all vendors and partners associated with organizational development and training.

Skills & Qualifications
• Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in business, specializing in Human Resources, Organizational Development and Training.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of job related experience is required or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Completion of the Certificate in Adult & Continuing Education (CACE) or Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP) is preferred.
• Bilingual communication skills are required; proficient in both French and English, written and verbal.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Relevant experience within a financial institution is an asset.
